Soul Song Saturdays

Calling all Spiritual Seekers….
You are invited to a sacred container. This is a 2-hour group gathering (Most Saturdays from 3pm to 5pm) offered by Rooted Bliss, sometimes featuring other practitioners and teachers as well.
Topics change regularly; updates are posted on the Rooted Bliss blog and social media.

The topic and format of the gathering varies slightly each week, but typically will include the following elements:
- Somatic Embodiment/Movement
- Guided Chanting Practices
- Ritual and Ceremony
- Vedic Wisdom Teachings
- Sharing Circle
Somatic Embodiment and Movement
We all carry so many emotions inside… and yet we have very few spaces where it might feel safe to express them.
Embodiment practices help us access the heart, feel and express our emotions the way our bodies want and need to express: through movement, sound, rhythm, and breath.
Guided Chanting Practices
Chanting together can be a very powerful practice. The potency of our voices, breath and awareness can deeply regulate the nervous system.
Sanskrit is among the oldest living languages still in existence. Each sound corresponds with an energy channel in the body. By harnessing these sacred syllables, it’s possible to experience deep openings and shifts in the body.
The meaning of each chant is given in English, along with the correct pronunciation.
Vedic Wisdom Teaching
Vedic Wisdom is timeless… although it’s ancient (more than 5,000 years old) it is still applicable today. My teachers have helped me assimilate this knowledge into practical, real-life teachings that anyone can use to drastically improve their lives.
You can also connect with this wisdom by checking out my emails, blog, and social media accounts.
This is the deepest, most esoteric yet practical spiritual wisdom available.
5-step ritual (puja)
Our ancient ancestors, for most of human history, spent their lives deeply embedded in ritual and prayer.
By reclaiming these practices, we fulfill a deep human need that has not disappeared just because we now live in the modern industrial world.
Ritual is a way to connect to the subtle, unseen forces around us. When the mind and body join in action with intention, the ripple effect is very powerful.
By cultivating an attitude of respect, honoring, and offering back, our whole life changes.
Sharing Circle
When I shine, you shine. When you shine, I shine.
We all desire to be heard, to express ourselves in safe spaces, to connect and be witnessed in our experiences.
Safety is created by shared values, which are given at the beginning of each circle. Then, each person has a few minutes to share. Anything is welcome, including questions, doubts, or anything else that comes from the heart.
We use a sacred object / Talking Stick and a timer to ensure each person has a chance to share, be witnessed in loving presence, and be heard.
This gathering is by donation. Any amount is welcome from $1 to $40.
The “standard” suggested donation is $25.
Upcoming dates:
